As many of you know, I had grand hopes of a physical newsletter for Father's Hearts.  Those hopes have been on hold as I've worked to make this site less tedious for myself and more user friendly for you.  As you can see, now everything enables your comments.  This is awesome because I want the site to be a dialogue and not just a sermon.  Please rejoin my efforts in promoting Family, Love, and Devotion.

Getting Ready

We are getting ready for the biggest road trip of our lives.  When I was contacted last fall to shoot a wedding for an old friend from High School in Portland, Oregon, I immediately remembered my young family's first roadtrip.  It was Me, Nelli and Alicia traveling in my grandma's buick down the Oregon coast, camping on the beach.  So we decided that we would make the 7,000+ mile trip for the month of May.  We plan to go though Omaha, Denver, Salt Lake, Reno, Redwood National Park and then up the Oregon Coast, stopping in Eugene and Portland for friends and family and then back through Montana, Wyoming and home.  It will be nearly a month on the road, but I think it may be one of the best experiences to date for our family.  We're going to try to live on simply foods to regain our thankfulness for the good things we eat so often.  We're going to see family and friends we haven't seen in a decade.  We're going to rest and sleep in the wilderness.  Through it all, I will finally be motivated to keep up on Father's Hearts by documenting the trip.  Coming Soon!
